Journeying in Genesis

With the dawn of the new year, my church (The Vine) has embarked on a “journey in Genesis”.  Our pastor has decided to just start teaching through Genesis (the first book of the Bible) and not stop ’til he feels like stopping.

To support this “crazy notion”, Pastor Mike has created a blog through which to share this journey.  Because I would really like to participate in that discussion and because (frankly) I’ve needed a bit of a break from all the politics and debate, I’m going to be hitting this blog pretty lightly and spending more time there for a while.

I’m sure there’ll be the occasional post here, but I can pretty much guarantee that the traffic won’t be nearly as heavy as it has been for the last 6 months.  But don’t worry; I’ll be back.  🙂

God bless you all in the new year.  Hope 2007 is a great year for all.
